Headlight removal question

There are dongles with rally kits (Aurora 790 kit for example).
I don’t know if they sell them separately but it seems rather complex to trick the Bosch Canbus (maybe not a simple resistor like for EVAP or canister).
I think I’ll rather live with this error message !

Just wanted to give an update I worked with a company that makes headlight eliminators. I sent them my headlight and they developed a working eliminator. After plugging it into the bike the error message was gone. Did a 100 mile ride everything worked properly was able to turn off the abs and tc individually. They are going to be available shortly through Woodcraft https://woodcraft-cfm.com/. So for anyone that is going to track their bike and don't want to risk the headlight getting damaged this is the move.

Assuming its priced near their servo/key switch eliminators, that is a lot more affordable (and/or available) than a new headlight.

But what about the rear fender removal ? Doesn’t that generate a defect as well (licence plate light and turn signal disconnected) ?

They didn't set a code on mine, I would assume it is because the headlight is a "smart headlight " and communicates with the can bus.

No defect is generated by disconnecting the rear fender lead.

On bikes with halogens . If you switch to LEDs. You add a load resistor like this to prevent error codes. Mabey adding a load resistor like this https://www.theretrofitsource.com/morimoto-hd-load-resistors-A-RES?quantity=1

Would trick the bike into thinking the headlight is still connected.

I switched to LED turn signals and installed the CustomLED flasher relay.
Took the headlights out for track and didn’t get any error codes.
