this cave of horrors?

yeah, I bought some too, but apparently the tree on a 401 is different to a 701. I assume you had them on a 701? Can I Ask why you took them off?
thanks for any info.

Hey Max- might you consider selling your Gills risers to someone who is about to turn 57 and is finding it harder to touch his toes?

Fair enough. Yes Im willing to sell them. Asking 100 bucks. Where do you live, so I can see how much shipping is?

Hi Max Kool, did you sold the riser eventually ? Otherwise I would be interested !
I'm located in continental Europe.

was the seating position alot more relaxed/comfortable with the risers? I'm wanting to do something different with mine as we plan on going on some longer rides this summer.. The factory position is just too low and hunched over for me.. Was thinking about the svart conversion, but these seem alot easier to install, just not quite as much rise.

For city riding I found the Gilles risers enough to make a difference. In the canyons riding faster I like the bike stock better.

I’ve literally just ordered a pair of these, they give 60mm lift and move the bars 40mm back. They are made from stainless but I plan on painting them black the make them look more factory. They may take a few weeks to arrive as I think they are made to order, I’ll update once fitted.

I bought Maxcool’s bar risers for my Vitpilen and I like them a lot- as a 58 yo guy I find the factory bars a bit low for anything but really hauling.
