I have just recently bought a 2006 SMR 510. It's my first bike, and I rode it for the first time today. I wanted to take a break and parked the bike, but the 10-minute break I wanted to take turned into a 4-hour break. When I decided to ride again, the bike started but wanted to stall, so I revved it a little bit and there was this kind of grinding noise in the engine and it died. I tried to start it up again, but it would not. It seemed like the starter motor didn't have enough power, so I hooked it up to my car and tried to jump-start it, but it wouldn't work, it only popped loudly at the exhaust. So I hooked the car battery cables directly to the bike, but it didnt start and did some loud pops at the exhaust. When I brought the bike into my garage to inspect it, I saw that the airbox tube had come off and that the engine was sucking in unfiltered air. I also saw on closer inspection that the gasket was also leaking oil.
Because it is my first bike, I don't have much mechanical knowledge, any help would be appreciated!
