Givi Canyon 25 liter Pannier Bags or...

I need some luggage and tend to prefer more traditional rectangular bags to the increasingly popular round(er) bags I've been seeing lately. I am using this for commuting, so carrying your normal commuter type stuff along with a stop every now and again at the grocery or to pick up a bit or bobble is normal, however I will also be using this as a light adventure/tourer, so being able to pack up all my camping gear (very lightweight stuff) is paramount.

I got some Rhinowalk bags, and they seemed fine except they were really a PITA to get on and off of the bike. The Nelson Rigg Hurricane bags look very good, but they have mixed reviews on durability, but look as though they can mount easily enough to most any pannier system. The Givi Canyon 25l bags are designed to mount to a Givi pannier system, which I don't have (I have no idea who made the rack on my bike as I bought it pre-installed).

While the Givi is unnecessarily expensive, the design looks very well thought out and they've been field proven, so I'm willing to spend the extra for a good product. Nelson Rigg has great service, but if I'm always using it due to a design flaw, it isn't much good; I'd rather just have bags that work and never need to use their customer service.

Does anyone have any recommendations outside of the bags mentioned? Or do any of you have the Givi Canyons mounted on some non-Givi rack? I'm just not sure if there's some adaptor available and I guess my Google-fu isn't great because I can't seem to get a definitive answer on that subject.

Thanks in advance!

I went with a traditional bicycle pannier bag from Rhinowalk. --> Link
It's affordable, big enough to carry my notebook and other office stuff or my go-kart equipment and of course some grocery.

I dismounted the bicycle rack mounting system and fitted a KLICKfix Mot adapter with a backplate inside the back for more stability. The KLICKfix Mot adapter fits either to the Unit Garage frame (also available with their bag in a set) or my custom built frame. I desired a smaller frame to get a smoother look if the bag is not on the bike. In the winter the frame will be painted black.

Everything is a bit dirty because the last ride was under rainy conditions.
