Fuel octane for 2023 svartpilen

I can not see anywhere in the manual specifying the octane number requirement. This is a high compression engine but it seems to perform just fine on 89 as it does on 93. There is the benefit of the additional additives to the higher octane fuel but I can just as much add my own additives to compensate with the 89 instead of paying for 93.
I also do not experience any knocking at 89.

At this point I think people are just saying to go with the higher octane because they aren't compensating for the additives that arent as present in the 89 as they are in the 93.

Thoughts?
 
That depends on the car. The majority only need 87oct. The higher Oct has more additives which lessen carbon buildup in the long run which is good but in a car you can easily take with you a fuel additive for each time you get gas. It's far more convenient to do in a car than it is with the limited space on a motorcycle unless you have some sort of storage which I don't.
