I wanted one of these for my motorcycle, and the shipping and wait time are ridiculous, so I bought a few to sell in the US, and you can get one from me if you wish.

They are directly from Pirate Racing and are brand new. Cost is $25, this includes shipping if you are in the continental US. I am in OR, and have the springs in hand. If you don’t wish to wait 6 weeks and pay $40 for shipping (!), you can get one from me. From Pirate, the spring is ~$17USD, but shipping costs you your first born.

This is what the spring is: https://www.pirateracing-shop.de/epages/63735976.sf/en_US/?ObjectPath=/Shops/63735976/Products/Ar-1

And if you are having gears slipping out between 5 and 6, this is the fix you need. I have not installed mine yet, but there is a video showing how. I’ve heard good things about it.

Thanks.

I tried the spring from pirate racing also. In my opinion the spring isn't a real fix against the false neutrals except you need more than twice the force to shift to the next gear. Because of that you will automatically hold the force until the gear is shifted. This is the only cause that there are less false neutrals recognized. For my liking it was to hard to shift (up and down!) in general, so I switched back to the OEM spring.
You only need to keep in mind that you have to finish the shift process, that means press and hold the lever until the next gear is settled. Since I made this experience I also have less to no missed shifts/false neutrals anymore. My shoes and feet are also happy about the little force needed to shift again.

Try to adjust the shift lever as low as possible to reach easily with you riding boots. In my case I also use the shorter length position for the shift pin. This shortens the length the lever has to go to shift to the next gear by only little more required force. Of course all this depends on feet size and personal liking.
Just my two cents regarding the stronger shift spring. But please make your own experiences.

First of all, thanks to everyone that has shared their thoughts and experiences here.

I the spring and the arm with a ceramic bearing hoping to get rid of the annoying miss shifts but had a slight concern in the back of my head about how hard would the shift would become after.
Yesterday as I was getting ready to install it I gave this thread a quick glance out of curiosity and found that, apparently, my concern wasn't completely wrong so I decided not to go ahead with it.
Now, I wonder if there would be a benefit in installing the ceramic bearing with the OEM spring.
The truth is that since I don't ride hard enough often enough I might not even notice a difference in everyday riding but, on the other hand, if it makes for a smoother shift on the rare occasions that I do I think it would be worth it.
Any opinions on the possible benefits of an "upgraded" shift selector arm?

Stock spring, Factory Pro, Pirate Racing
in order of spring rate.
If you have the Factory Pro ceramic arm install that with the Factory pro spring. The ceramic bearing is very smooth and with the decreased bearing resistance increasing the spring is required to maintain the necessary shift effort.
The ceramic arm with the stock spring will feel very soft. I tested the feel of that combination FP arm stock spring on the stand with the clutch cover off. I did not feel the stock spring was sufficient so I removed stock spring and used the FP spring its a bit more stiff but I am going to try the Pirate spring with the Factory Pro ceramic arm. I would like it a bit more stiff of a shift.
I should note that I ride with motocross boots and the FP spring is adequate with sneakers perhaps even a bit more then I like but with the hard protective boots I want a bit more resistance.

If you are doing a oil change during the shift star arm installation. Test the FP arm with the stock spring and with the Factory Pro spring see what you like and button it back up with the winner. This is a very subjective modification what works for one is inadequate for the next.

I think this is very bike/rider specific.
On my particular 401 it was like I would miss shifts like all of the time; it would just jump out of gear as soon as I throttled it, sometimes minutes later. On that particular bike, the factory pro kit made a huge difference, the shifting was greatly improved.

On my particular 701, the tranny feels good and I can shift with normal shifting. I sometimes miss one, just sometimes though and not frequently enough for me to open up the bike and change spring... again, on that particular bike.

For the OPs Buy/Sell post & those who have a particular bike which needs an improvement - definately do look into the available options.

The red on right spring is Pirate Racing the spring on the left is the KTM stock spring. As you can see the KTM spring is 2.47mm however that does not tell the whole story and the angle on the Pirate Racing is greater at rest so when installed the tension is more to stat at installed height. It definitely provides more resistance. Another observation is that the KTM shift arm has more axial play on the brushing the factory pro shift arm has very little play. The factory bearing OD on is greater than the stock KTM
