Fender Eliminator

Pothole is one thing, but even though it feels bad it generally is too fast to get the suspension to move much. If you are riding fast on backroads and you have an elevation change those are the ones that get you. If you are good with it that is all that matters.

Well, that sucks. Make sense I guess since Evotech said will they design it, but nothing came out of it after so long. Guess I need to take the PDF file you made and take it to a workshop to make the adapter + heatshield for the indicator

Moto Blouz...

short trip through Taunus and Westerwald yesterday - nice, but too hot hot (about 38 degrees) for me...
and it seems to be also too hot for my moto-blouz-tail...

For anyone curious what the De Nigro Racing tail tidy looks like with a US plate and stock US blinkers. Installed this weekend. Wound up cutting some of the license plate bracket off to better fit the US plate, some of the other larger bracket still shows underneath the plate, but still looks ok, and with the IXIL slip on, no need to worry about blinkers getting toasted. Quality seems decent, some of the mounting holes were a little awkwardly placed and tough to get a socket in.

Next step I might take is getting rid of the ugly US spec blinkers and replacing them with some minimal ones like from motogadget.

Thanks man, yeah replacing the blinkers up front is going to be a lotta work I fear.

The IXIL exhaust is great, right now I feel like it's the perfect amount of loud where it sounds incredible to the rider and anyone next to the bike, but doesn't annoy everyone around. I will admit I have been heavily considering performing a decat with either the IXIL or Coober decat pipe. But the idea of voiding the warranty scares me with the KTM engine, especially after my local dealer service tech told me a story about someone with a Norden 901 doing a decat and having the engine fail on them...

I think it looks great tbh. I ended up switching my blinkers to the motogadget ice, and the difference is night and day. Now that I’ve seen your tail tidy I might go ahead and get one myself.

As for the Decat, I’m thinking of getting one, and as far as I know it shouldn’t void the warranty, unless the decat was to cause the issue, which it shouldn’t. I’m mostly concerned for the camshafts in case those issues ever return on this engine. So I’ll probably try installing the decat in the upcoming months.

Fair warning, I had to contact De Nigro Racing via WhatsApp and PayPal them directly since their site, at least when I placed my order, did not support shipping to the USA. This also involved having to pay duties and customs fees, which nearly doubled the price of the tail tidy. But yeah, it will likely look and work great with your bike and the motogadget ice blinkers all said and done.

And if you wind up getting the decat done, you'll have to share the results, especially curious how the IXIL slip on will sound with it. Videos out there are pretty limited.
