Even Jalopnik likes the Svart 125

Either that writeup is riddled with factual errors or our boy Bradley has obtained some very privileged information from Husqvarna.

Building on the success of Husqvarna’s larger Svart 701 and 401 models, the company rolled out a smaller, more nimble, and more affordable model for the masses on Wednesday. It’s like the Honda Grom’s cooler European artist friend who smokes.
There's zero indication that the 125 is smaller than the 701 and 401 in any notable department aside from the engine.
There's zero indication that the 125 is more nimble
I've confirmed that it's not more affordable unless you consider ~350GBP a financial yawning chasm
This is the first of at least 2 comparisons to the Grom which are not apt in any way
Husqvarna hasn’t published power or torque numbers just yet.
Except as of time of publishing power and torque figures had been on the European sites for about 12 hours.
This bike’s dry weight is listed at 322 pounds, which seems a bit on the heavy side for such a small machine. For context, that’s about 100 pounds heavier than a Grom.
This should have been a huge red flag to Bradley that perhaps the 125 isn't the minibike he seems convinced that it is.
Husqvarna is rolling this bad boy out around the world this month, but there’s no telling when they will actually hit dealerships.
Dealerships in the UK at least already have listings for the 125
Call your Husqvarna dealer and see what they say. I’m guessing they’ll try to sell you a chainsaw.
Yeah they probably will because currently all signs point to the 125 not coming to the North American market at all.

Great post! Agree.... its the same size, just a smaller engine.

Man, I used to be an avid reader of Jalopnik... since I started listening to podcast, I get my "auto" news from them. Even forgot about the website.

Yeah, I admit to not reading all the details when I posted. ;-)
I guess it's possible it has narrower wheels? That could make it a bit nimbler.
And some places have large tarriffs on larger bikes... so that could make a real financial difference.
But you guys are correct, it is a VERY similar bike to the 401/250/200. And it is no Grom... that is a "mini" bike.
