This one was two weeks ago, great weather for most of the right but the rain caught us good on our way back. We made the point of visiting the original “Plazas” of each town: the center of the town which usually had the town Church to one side and the Mayor’s office at the other. You can see the difference of the Plazas, depending on the size of the town.

This was the ride in which I managed to make an Origami figure out of my license plate:

All in good fun 😂

Great ride report!
Is the altitude chart in meters?
I've seen license plates do that before!
Love the picture of the bowling center... but I feel sorry for it too...

Thanks!

Altitude is in meters. As we prefer riding on the old, curvy roads, we are always going up and down mountains, even as we reach the coast.

Regarding the bowling center, it is a shame. The town had a big US Naval base from 1943 to 2004. As you can imagine, the town “died” when the base closed, along with a lot of local businesses supported by sailors and other personnel that worked on the base.
