I bought this kit on eBay, shipped from South Korea.

The entire kit weighs 396g or about 14oz. Under a pound.

Seems nicely made and they included some directions in English.

I decided to just fit the top panels to start as that is where the ugliest wiring is exposed. Just that part of the kit is 127g or about 4.5oz.

I put the rest of the kit on the bike... and I have to say I like how it looks. I particularly like how they all reflect the light a bit differently because they are at different angles, kind of like facets. I even like the polished phillips heads, the screws are a nice contrast. I'd prefer hex head, but the stainless steel contrast is nice.
I do wish it did not have the manufactures logo on it... I may cover that somehow. And I do wish they included a couple extra fasteners and clamps. Pretty easy to lose those little screws and special washers during a service some day.
One of the panels did require a neighboring part to be loosened (one bolt with a 10mm head) to get a clip in. And on the other side there is a rubber cable tie that needed to be squished a bit. Overall, very easy.

Looks very much like some stealth craft from the 80's... as much as I like it, cant help but wonder which/if any difference there will be for air flow through the rad/fan and around the head.

The way the fan shroud is, I think most of the air is either directed between the frame rails or outside them. I'm not imagining it will be a significant deal on a water cooled engine.... it's not like their are any fins or anything.
But I'll let you know if it blows up!
 
You have to unscrew the panels. The clips do unstap from the frame but you cannot remove the panels with the clips still attached. And the screws are self tapping screws into the plastic clips, so I think regular removal and re installation could wear them out eventually.
You certainly can't clean behind them or access stuff behind them easily, so that might be a problem for some.
 
Thanks for the info, that's helpful. I thought about these when they first got posted but the cost for us here in Australia is high. Knowing how they fit in guides my thinking on setting up my own panels. I imagine those Dzus half-turn fairing clips would be an improvement.
