I did it on my 2013 690 Duke.
RC8 fork, almost a direct fit. You can keep the 690 wheel (remove platic cap and put the second disc). RC8 fork axle only.
I did it with M50 brembo caliper (from KTM RC8). You have to replace the master cylinder for a dual disc MC (Brembo for me).
The RC8 fork is too short. It should be better with the 790 fork (I don’t have the experience but it should be the same).
Since, I came back to the single disk. It was perfect for the track races but too much for my hill climbing races.
