Hi guys,

I was on my way to get my first service done and my motorcycle died. As I was riding I saw a brief « low battery » message on the dash and then it shut off along with the engine. I tought I had a battery/dynano issue, but after pushing it back home I mesured 13.44V at the battery and I realised that the lights where still working. I checked all the fuses and none seemed busted.

Does anyone have any idea what could have went wrong? I can’t start the engine but everything electrical aside the dash and starter works.

Its going back to the dealership for a warranty claim but I’m really curious to know if someone has had the same problem.

Thanks!

I have no idea. I hope the dealer isn't far away. Are they coming to get it?

Luckily they offered to tow it free of charge. I’m still waiting for them to come pick it up.
Sadly, It shook my confidence in the bike’s reliability a little bit.
It doesn’t seem to be a common problem. I’m guessing that there is a cut or badly crimped wire in the dash loom/connector.

Hoping that it’s a quick and easy fix.
