Finally got around to cutting and shortening an extra stock exhaust I got. Ignore the terrible weld that will be covered by the clamp.. still have to finish sanding and repaint it. A little hesitant to run it too much without tuning the bike since I already have the airbox cover off and this may lean out the mixture too much since it has the baffle removed.

... how the satin black turned out…

In the picture the color looks great!

I keep thinking that brown stripe should be white or black or chrome or diamond plate or anything but browm... I am not sure if it takes away from the motor being brown or makes another brown piece seem to be missing somewhere.

And you pipe does look very blue...did you recently reset the ecu?

I think it’s just so blue because I didn’t disable the air injection, the pipe glows at night from that… I have thought about going silver with the strap since I did not Rivet it back on, silver is really hard to get right with spray paint though….

I'd say that length is perfect.
If you shorten it even further it will look weird and stubby.
Yeah I think you could be right there, the biggest surprise to me is how good it sounds, usually not a fan of single cylinder exhaust but it sounds good and not too dirt bike ish.

Here you go in silver.. I repainted the muffler matte and did the hanger silver, I might go back to bronze not sure…

Length looks great and I would keep is silver, or black. Or go all out with blue... it is a Husky after all 😉

Done, not too happy with how the satin black turned out but oh well…probably should have gone another two inches shorter also
I really like your bike mate! Good job with that muffler, what's your next step? ceramic coating on header? :)

I think I might leave it as is for awhile now, the main thing I need to work is the rear shock. I do have an extra set of outer fork tubes laying around that I could get coated tho….
