Just wondering if anyone had figured out which crash bars from the Duke 790/890 might also fit the husky? Any recommendations?

Hello Guys. A few pics of Evotech crash protection installed on my bike. If it helps someone 😉

Thank you, I installed HQ front and rear axle protection and I'm on the fence with the engine protection. Thanks for the pictures.

Perfect! I was afraid of that to be disturbing but it’s not. Almost invisible. And imho it saves the radiator if the bike falls.

But it never falls after you add crash protection 😉😉😉

Just saw your front forks, aren't they awfully close to bottoming out? On the phone in the sun so a bit hard to see.

Do you mean that red ring on the leg of the fork? I tested emergency braking and abs 😉

Thanks! Helps a bench. Doesn't look too bad at all.

If it would fall over.. would it be enough to protect the tail from touching the ground you think?
Happy to hear that!

Well, that's the question :-) I did not try it :-) However, I conducted serious scientific research using a piece of a wooden board... Imho, it won't touch the ground because of the passenger footrests. But even without them it won't I guess.

Thanks for that pristine scientific deep dive you did ! :)

That really does reassure.
thinking of removing the foot rests, could work could work 🤔

Haha, dont make me bolt on the passenger pegs again!

Don't do it! :-) Science might be wrong!

I am about to remove them as well. Just have to justify the price of the silencer holder
:)

Silencer holder has really been nicely made and machined , not just a simple piece of straight metal with some holes. You'll love it haha 😄

All too expensive but if you don't want to carry extra weight and (maybe?) protection with the passenger pegs its either that or making your own.

I decided to go the easy route and buy it (and cry later) since I don't have access to a proper shop.

You're right :-) It's my first bike, so I had to buy pretty much everything, which moved the silencer bracket low on the priority list, and I need some justification why I still don't have it
:)

But at least, what's positive. It's all cheaper than road cycling and mountain biking :-)

Btw, I need a rear stand. Did some research and found that the strength lies in simplicity in this case. I am looking at the simple Valtermoto fork rear stand. Do you have any experience with this? Which stands are you using?
