The old oil filters showed no unexpected surprises and the radius at the red arrows is already there on a new piston.
I can't remember any cold start with asking adhoc high engine power.

If I guess, slight overheating and running rich due to compression loss.
Anyway, I would take a look at the old oil filters for debris.

My bad, I thought this edge of the OEM pistons was more radiused.
