I have an existing Coober ECU on my svart 401. Bike has issues running lean. Any experience running the FuelX with the Coober ECU? From what I've read they should be able to run together. Any input is appreciated, thanks!

Like we answered you in the other thread; FuelX works in the lower rpm region where the lambda sons signal is active, an ECU works in the so called “open loop”. They should complement each other nicely. The powertronics website confirms this saying the FuelX is best in combination with an ECU.

But he has a Coober. You don't know that they operate the same. There is nothing intrinsic to an ECU that says one system could not do both.

Instead of asking people on the internet the OP would be best served by actually contacting Coober and getting real information.

And there’s the answer, available on the website
It was a little ambiguous to me. "Not bound by" wasn't a definitive that it would operate without issue with the fuelx, or overriding it. Fear not, I did contact them and with the info I gave and what they knew, it was determined they both can run together. It's part of doing due diligence before spending a couple hundred bucks. If it was answered definitively on the other post I must have missed it. Anyway, thanks all for the input. Everything is installed (shipping was lightning quick) and I can't recommend running them both together enough. Profound difference. Cheers
