Connectivity Option missing?

Guys, when somebody is calling, do you see on the displey just phone number or name? My last KTM (SAS 1290 2023) was showing name, but Husky is showing only number :(

I have no idea, I’ve got my phone connected to a separate display, not the bike. I thought the bike Satnav was pretty bad. The Husky app ate my phone battery pretty bad.

Same here; just the number, not the name.

Finally managed to go to the dealer. Ultimately they don't know why it was missing but they mentioned that they did remove it and added it back. All is working as expected. The also applied the latest update it seems with 1V14.

They seemingly forgot to reset the KM (which I tried resetting but it's somehow not saving) but they did reset the months so all is in order for now 🤠

Today I picked up the bike from the yearly service; they also updated to the latest version 1V14.

@Tom are your indicators working properly since the service/update? I did drive for 2 hours since the service and since then I can sometimes indicate, sometimes I cannot or I cannot turn them off again.

I can only assume something with the software at this point, already tried resetting and taking the battery off, no change.

@inot333 up to now I only did the (maybe 15 km) ride from the dealer back home; without noticing the issue; unfortunately I can't help with it.

My bike got a “auto indicators off” function when I serviced my bike so it makes sense if the update messed up your indicators.

Thanks for that, I will check my menu for this when I get home. Maybe I have this as well and turning it off will fix my problem, the dealer is off today anyway...

The new indicator feature isn’t listed in the menu, but I’m guessing that part of the software update could be the issue for your bike. I have checked with a friend of mine that has a 1290R and he told me his bike also got that feature after the latest service update.

On the 401 I know there’s an option in the service settings that switches between LED and non LED indicators. I don’t know if the 801 is sold without LED indicators in some countries but that might also be something worth checking out.

From the KTM website; it seems to be a "feature" that is also added to the 801 (and also the 401) with the firmware updates since end of last year...

AUTOMATIC TURN INDICATOR RESET (ATIR)

Automatic Turn Indicator Reset keeps the indicators flashing for a set time or distance before automatically disengaging. The ATIR negates the need for the rider to move his left hand and manually stop the signal. The indicator also remains active while stationary until the motorcycle has performed the necessary maneuver.

Just talked to the dealer, I can swing by tomorrow and they will check the bike for error codes, maybe turn of the ATIR and verify the indicator switch itself. After I described my issue the service rep. on the phone was also leaning towards a software issue, apparently no one has encountered this before so far.

I very much hope its possible to disable it, it absolutely does not work as intended. Will ask the dealer next time I'm dropping by.

I dropped my bike off at the dealer today, funnily enough the auto switch off did work very well while driving there, still could not switch the indicator off besides cancelling it with the hazards, so the error keeps moving/changing.

They could not do much this morning, but they suspect the indicator switch being broken and will check it/order a new one. Their calendar is full so I will only hear back by next tuesday-ish. Luckily I still have my 690 SMCR :).

@CRK, they did suggest that they could turn it off (until a new update is released to test it out again) if it would be the culprit.

I had the same thing with the blinker getting stuck and only the hazard light worked to get rid of it. Was due to water in the switch.

Oh, that good to hear. Anyone know which is the latest and greatest version? I think I'm on 1.11-something.
