Have taken my Vit out a couple of times so far and the bike has about 120 miles on it. Love the handling, power characteristics, the light weight but the clutch...not so much. During my first real ride on the bike, I discovered it's a pain to find neutral and actually had the bike stuck in first at a light until I started releasing the clutch. I chalked that up to this being a brand new bike. Today, had a very weird thing happen twice. As I was coasting to a stop in first, I pulled the clutch in with the lever all the way to the bar but the bike still was pushing forward. I've owned dozens of bikes and have never had this happen. The bike kept moving forward, wouldn't stall with the front brake applied and I had to shut the motor off for this to stop happening. Anyone experience this or have any idea of what it could be?

Wow, on an almost new bike? Had an RC390 that had issues out of the box but the Vit was built in Austria if I’m not mistaken...smh.

Welcome to KTM world, where a known fault like this can continue in production bikes for years :)

I’d say get it fixed as soon as you can because it will fail soon and the bike won’t be rideable.
How much clutch fluid do you have in the remote reservoir?

It’s full just. It was serviced by the dealer prior to me picking it up.

Yeah new bike. I thought by 2020 the problem would be fixed. 12 miles on new bike same deal. Replaced with aftermarket.

I had the same issue with my 2020 Vitpilen with 20 miles on it, clutch randomly failed to disengage several times. I bled the clutch master cylinder and slave cylinder and did not have any other issues. I did replace the slave cylinder a couple weeks later with an Oberon just to be safe. I didn’t have any fluid loss so the dealership thought it was most likely an air bubble in the master cylinder. When I bled it I got air out of the master and slave cylinder.

Bleeding the system seems like a good first step.

Appreciate everyone’s feedback!

Mine did it this morning! I should have replaced it but I have no idea how to do that so I didn't. Fortunately, I made it close to work before it failed. Now I get to nurse it to this Aprilia motorcycle dealer near here. DAMN! LOL

I just ordered the Oberon... Now to get my bike home and try to find a YouTube on how to replace it.

Have to do this because the dealer is backed up for a couple of weeks. I'm gonna ride it home on the highway... I can use the kill switch to shut it off and put it in 2nd gear at the few stops I have. I can handle it, I just don't want it to tear up the bike.

Will the lever pump up, mine failed and I just had to pump the lever a few times. it got me home.

It actually worked on the way home. I didn't try to rely on it too heavily but it worked!

So, now it's in my garage and the part should be here by Weds of next week. Gonna try to figure out what tools I need in the meantime. Looks like it's held on by torx bolts...?

had this once with approx 100 miles on it i checked at the dealer they said there is already the new version of the gasket inside till here okay but i will also aim to exchange it with the 1k service

my dealer told me they exchanged plenty of those o ring on plenty ktms..

and battery went empty after 1night out of the garage
i guess running down hill & jump start that baby shacked all bubbles away cause till then clutch runs smooth
..... just stupid info my sp need minimum 18-20km/h to start it with xtrem low-battery downhill
it takes some enegie to preload fuel pump to inject correctly ,did this workout 3 days till i got battery replaced
