Hi,

I am planing to go for some track days next year with my little "Vit" since it has been to long since last time but then I need to restore the bike to stock exhaust due to noise levels.
I have got individually mapped PC5, open air box, O2 delete, arrow decat and Akra end can and my question is if it is bad for the engine to go for a trackday with the stock exhaust and cat, no O2 sensor and with still PC5 mounted/connected?

Usually in that situation the biggest danger is burning out your catalytic converter due to the excess fuel… not sure on the engine side of things. Does Rottweiler have a pc5 map for stock bikes your could just flash real quick?

OK, ty, sounds reasonable. Might start with the company that ran my bike on the dyno and made the adjustments, they are Husky retailer so they should perhaps be able to send me an original file for the PC so I can change or might the original be saved as well somewhere in the PC5? I have never connected my laptop to the PC5 and checked.
I have seen something about map switch for the PC5, anyone that is using one of those, might be a smooth way to switch them when using stock exhaust.

For my experiance, the Akro with DB Killer is quieter than stock End Can.

Also, the Open Airbox at full throttle is louder than the exhaust, especially when "sport" air filters are used.

Have you treid only using a 3 hole lid with stock paper air filter and the DB killer in the Akro to see if it meets sound level requirements?

Will also agree with Abe, the Cat will probably not last long when you use decat map.
