Captive Wheel Spacers

Hi,

I'm looking for captive wheel spacers for my Vitpilen 701. I haven't found any from the normal manufacturers that fit the vitpilen. Does anyone know of any brands that make them for the Vit701? Do captive spaces from the duke 690 fit the vitpilen, or are the wheels and forks different?

They dont fall out when the wheel is off.

Spacers for a 690 Duke are the same.

For the aluminum wheels... spoke wheels probably have different spacers...

Yeah spacers are the things that keep falling out when you change your wheels. Captive spaces stay in place so it's one less thing to line up when installing the wheel. They are common for sport bikes since racers and trackdays riders change there tires more often than street riders.

Do you know of any captive spacers for the duke 690? I just did a quick search but nothing came up.

No, normally only for race bikes where tires are "hot swapped". (Like a RC390)

I use the axel grease to "glue" mine in, otherwise the just drop out of both sides

I found some front spacers that list duke 690 in the application list, from 3 different brands; interestingly all 3 from the same online shop...

The shop also has more spacers, but they dont look like captive ones from the pic (and are not listed as such)

I also just use grease.
