Can anyone tell me if the Vitpilen 701 uses the same size Triple-Tree as the Vitpilen 401?

thankyou, I was about to lose it.
Take a deep breath and read at leisure. This will save you from making hasty mistakes.
In the linked thread there are also riser options for the Vitpilen 401. Sorry for my mash up with the Svartpilen 401.

The Gilles risers are only listed for the Vitpilen 701 --> part number: LU-A-VP701. So no mistake by Gilles.

The 401 uses a M6 bolt to secure the handlebar tube into the triple. The 701 uses a M8.
(According to the parts list)

The hole in the triple clamp has got to be the same diameter on both the 701 and 401 because they both use 7/8" handlebars.

I looked at the triple clamp of my 2022 Vit 401 and it looks like it's drilled for a M6 bolt. It would have to be drilled out for a M8 bolt.

If the taper on the ends of the 701 and 401 bars are the same, that should do for attaching the riser to the triple clamp.

The 401 bar is drilled for a M6 bolt but the riser is drilled for an M8 bolt. Obviously a M6 bolt will fit through hole drilled for a M8 bolt but will it adequately fasten the bar to the riser?
