In the dual disc thread, there is mention that a tester is required to bleed the brakes.
This is exactly how it is described in the service manual.
I can understand that if there is to be bled, a tester is required.

What I wonder, if only the fluid is replaced, with no air to be bled, is a tester still required or recommended?

Any experiance?

I did basically the same, just replaced the old fluid with new using a suction tool.

I personally do not like the idea of needing a tester to perform standard maintenance...

As much as I know a “brake fluid tester“ measures the content of water in the old fluid. Therefore it tells you is a change of fluid required or not.

For standard bleeding or fluid change a vacuum tool like you have is helpful.

After extensive work on the brake system the ABS pump might run dry and for successful refilling and bleeding it might be necessary to activate the pump by the Husqvarna software to get all of the air out.

The question is, if some old brake fluid stays in the abs block during a standard change?

If yes, a tester job to run the abs block is required to get all drops exchanged with fresh brake fluid.
Air is one thing which should not be a problem during a standard brake fluid change, but old and maybe water diluted brake fluid that stays in the abs block has to be replaced at all.

Maybe a repetitive change with some abs brake runs in between does the job, too.

It's only a question how fast and hard you pull the lever. Otherwise put some water or sand on a spot and start braking there.
If you believe in the system, you can sit on the passengers seat to shift the weight more to the rear.

Sounds too crazy for me... I thought the front brake was only for making burnouts...
... probably safer to just go out in the lawn and let it bust loose at 5mph.

On a clean / dry road, with decent tires, making the front abs work is kinda hard on a light weight performance bike... isnt it?
It is easily done on the Vit. I do it almost every ride.
Just before I get home there is one lovely long corner before I enter my hometown.
I go trough at a little 😇 over the speed limit and just after I straighten the bike I hit the front brakes hard to enter the town at 50km/h. This always triggers the abs on the front.
