And the 401 will arrive in 3-4 weeks, will be interesting to see what they look like IRL.

Indeed, that extra cylinder definitely adds a lot of weight. I love the power to weight ratio on the 701's.

I’ll still keep my 701 for twisty road fun, but a 901 would be good to compliment it for longer trips. The 701 is pretty exhausting on longer highspeed rides.

Do you have a source for this weight? I just found 190 kg. Just 3 kg more compared to the 701 seems not possible.

It looks like the picture is of the Vitpilen version that is yet to be released. I would imagine they will be a straight swap. Once it’s released then you’ll be able to buy them as spare parts and shouldn’t cost a lot.

If they use the 1290 in a Vit I'm a buyer. My '14 SD-R was such a beast. Yes I traded it in because it was going to get me in trouble. No that doesn't make sense, don't judge me!
