Bar end mirrors

This is probably a dumb question, but I'm looking to switch out the stock mirrors on my '21 Svartpilen 401. Bought a set of mirrors and when I went to install I realized they don't have plugs at the end of the bars, just the solid (welded in?) metal piece that the bar end screws into. Anybody have any tips on how to install bar ends or if there's a specific type that need to be purchased to work? Thanks.

It sounds like your mirrors have the rubber plug that tightens up inside the bar. There are other styles that screw into the bar end socket, and others like this

2021 Smart Bar end Mirrors

Installed some inexpensive bar end mirrors for the bike today. I purchased them from Amazon with the following link. Round 7/8" Handle Bar End Motorcycle Side Mirrors Modification was required for install but I believe it can be done with standard tools such as Allen wrenches and Dremel cut...
