Everytime I get fancy and pull out my Baby Bosch Grinder I get a silly grin on my face.

It is most likely one of the dangerous-est tools I got; only because its almost always underestimated.

Works well for quicky jobs like removing the rivet head for chain swaps.

Make sure to wear goggles (and Birkenstocks).

I'd like to run an MXU, and will need confirm with the chain manufacturer before I do.

The reason being, the mx chains are rated at 70hp and the 701 has 75hp.

For now I will test out this XSO2.

Looks very good and I'm considering purchase but first I'd like to know if it took their 6Ah battery.

Of all the tools Ive used from this series of Bosch, the starlock one, which is also pretty cool by the way, is the only one where I felt the 2.0ah was pushing its limits.

I bought the grinder (skin only) for AU$150....the 6ah battery cost AU$155.
I figured it would be good for quick / small to moderate jobs and invaluable in tight spaces.
The battery cost more than the actual tool.
Thanks BISavage.

Now that i have been using this for numerous jobs (both around the house and on bikes) i have found it invaluable . It's a surprisingly tough little thing, good for tight space or even moderately heavy duty applications. With the guard removed it fits the much cheaper 100mm blades.
This would be my go-to tool now for for most cutting/grinder jobs. Their 12v drill is also excellent and teamed with 6Ah batteries both last for ages between charges....this is what i call progress. (y)
