Anyone swapped cams yet?

So, I figure in the next time, or time after that, when the valves get checked, the Cam will be due.

The one small pit can be felt with a metal tool like the feeler guage, but not with a finger 🙈🙈🙈

Otherwise the wear looks pretty normal for this type of motor from what I seen on the intronet.

Anyone pulled the cam yet... looks like a pretty simple task from design.

I dismounted and mounted the cam several times during top end repairs. It's possible to swap the cam with the engine still in place.
I still have an AGAP 262_270 waiting for installation. Due to the past required engine rescues I'm a little bit afraid to put more effort in this engine. Honestly I'm dealing with thoughts of selling my Vitpilen for something different and more reliable.

When I looked at it, it looks like in order to remove the cam, the timing chain needs to be made loose by releasing the tensioner and the top guide, and then the holder for the cam can be unscrewed and removed, and then it can be slid out the left side.

Is that right?
