Is my front rotor already getting warped? I'd imagine this is a dumb question. My bike has less than 6k miles on it. Is this normal/abnormal?
Pretty disappointed.

Usually, the discs are not actually "warped". It is deposits on the disk that grab and release the pad that makes the pulsation. If you can check the runout, and if it is OK then maybe clean the disc and try new more aggressive pads.
This is a automobile article, but has some useful info:

But check the runout first, it's not that hard to do:

^^ this!

That’s why I asked about stock pads. I’ve noticed on three different bikes (all with Brembo FF pads as stock) the rotors started to feel warped after only 1000-1500 miles. I suspected uneven pad residue. A switch to EBC HH or Brembo SC pads completely cured this after about 1000 miles to never come back.

Okay, this is good news! It's gotta be the pads. I'm going to change them out. Thanks for the responses!

Not sure if you did any work on the bike...
... another thing to check is the alignment of the caliper.

If I am not mistaken, a misalignment on the caliper will also make a pulsing feeling.

...gonna go with what they said above then...

Good news is, new pads are not expensive and may provide an improvement; in general.

The disc should last for multiple sets of pads.
