I bought two muffler options to compare. (Thanks to BISavage for inspiration!)
These seem to only fit 2019 and earlier exhaust systems.

The akrapovic replica has a cool shape, and is stainless steel. They also sell this with various carbon look hydro dip films coatings. Beware that those are not real carbon fiber.

1028g, including the 76g db killer:

The other one I chose was a leovince replica, made of real carbon fiber. I saw some vendors sell this with a glossy finish, but I preferred this one with a matte finish.

862g including a 77g dB killer:

More testing when I get the rest of the exhaust system...

(edit: Note I discover later in this thread that I needed a different exhaust end pipe to fit these on my 2020+ 401. More detail in post #35 of this thread. https://hqvadventure.com/forum/thre...-muffler-exhaust-options.330/page-2#post-3817 )

I'm waiting for a very similar Akrapovic replica I got for 35€. The shipping is sooooo slow... So I want to hear about yours  (I think it's very similar to that one)

Well, I just took the Carbon Fiber muffler apart ... and there is no LeoVinci embossing. (BISavage has one and his has that.)
It is also unfinished stainless steel under the cap. If I want to go capless, I'll have to polish that end up. Or maybe I'll just wire brush both ends...

Wow, thats interesting.
Was it glued? On the one I got, the outlet side endcap was glued to the carbon so I didnt remove it; the otherside was not glued and easily came off.

The core looks different on that one too.

Here again for reference:

Nothing was glued. It was well packed. The core on mine has more, but smaller holes than on yours.
I just ordered a bigger rivet tool... mine iis too small for this project.

Mine finally arrived yesterday, and the quality is surprisingly good for 36€.

But I will be returning it since I made a mistake when ordering it.

Now I'm reconsidering my decision and I think I might get a SC Project replica which I think suits the bike much better.

What was the mistake?, looks good!
Personally, I prefer the bare aluminum to the dip/wrap faux carbon fiber.
Mine is just like that, but single outlet and all aluminum. I'm thinking of drilling out the rivets, removing the polished straps and giving them a brushed finish. Would be perfect then, IMO. ;)

I wanted a single exit one since it had a DB killer, but I ordered this one by mistake (The seller had a few simillar exhausts). I wanted it with the DB killer to make it look a bit more legal... The law regarding kind of stuff is kinda strict here.

Also, the model I ordered didn't have the link pipe between the muffler and the pre-muffler and I wasn't able to try it. One reason why I chose this seller was 15 days free returns and ordering a new link pipe would take more than 15 days, so I would loose the posibility to return it in case I didnt like it or it was bad quality.

So I decided to return it and just ordered this one: https://es.aliexpress.com/item/1005002092729473.html?spm=a2g0s.9042311.0.0.5fff63c0wrp9Wg

I saw this video and the owner confirmed it was from Aliexpress. I love the way it looks on this bike.

It arrived today. Build quality seems really good and I love the looks, it really fits the bike.

What I don't personally like: In my opinion it doesn't sound as good as the akra. This sounds a bit higher in pitch and quite louder, even with the DB killer installed.

I don't really like the exhaust being this loud to be honest, specially living in the city centre. For those who are curious, the DB killer sits inside, so you can't really tell from the outside wether it's installed or not. (It's the part in the bottom right).

Btw, I know I don't have the exhaust springs installed. I'm going to buy some exhaust sealing paste first because some air is leaking
