Aftermarket gear shifter lever?

Hey all. Recently purchased a 2023 Svart and have been really pleasantly surprised by it. Still, can’t help but want to make it my own.

The one thing I can’t seem to find is an aftermarket solution for the gear shifter lever, and this is probably the thing I want most.

You see, I have big boots. And even using the built in adjustments on the connecting rod, I still do not have room to really get my boot under the peg. I have to shift up with the side of my foot.

After hours of scouring I’m beginning to think I may need to get a custom garage or something nearby to help me figure this out…

Here in the UK eBay sell these.

I have not checked the thread size on the bike but once you know that finding adjusting screws shouldn’t be too difficult.

I’ll share a diagram from the manual. The adjuster rod does not actually move the lever forward or backward on a horizontal axis. It can only rotate it along the anchored pivot (attached on the backside of that black bracket). So a longer or shorter adjuster rod can’t actually solve the problem.

In fact, I was willing to give it a shot with just rotating that all the way up, but then when it’s at its maximum (roughly where my blue arrow ends), it’s not physically possible to then move it to shift gears up. So you really only have a small range (maybe an inch / 30mm) in either direction.

Quick edit to say that it feels a bit like some engineers missed a big point as to what one might want an adjuster for on a shift lever.

Curious how big feet you have. 😂
I’m usually riding with SiDi Adventure boots in size 45 and after adjusting the lever, it works good.
