801 Helmets....

Hi folks !

I recently learned that normaly a helmet is supposed to be changed quite often, (every five year !!?), and i think i need to change my old Shoei GT-Air 2...
Been lurking on the new Neo-Tec 3 for the front opening. I choose my helmets for confort and emphasis on visibility with light colors : silver, yellow, or white ! It is said to be 24% more visible and hence more secure than black helmets.

The looks of the 801 is kinda unique and difficult to define, accessories harder to match. Husquy pics display black helmets that fits damn well.
If it only was for the looks and nothing else, what whould you choose to get along with a black Svartpilen 801 ?

What helmet are you using right now and why ? Anyone using Senna SLR3 ?

Neotec 3 in anthracite, matches almost any metallic grey color on a bike. My only grip is the micro click adjuster, much rather have D rings.

Not the cheapest option, but the Arai helmets fit my head extremely good; it's a RX-7V and a Concept-X / Rapide Neo.

Anthracite the right color for you Toast ? It's a mess with the colors at Shoei : grey, chalk, silver, light silver, mat dark grey, plus photos that doesn't reflect reality or are just the wrong ones ! Am definitely trying to match the colors of the Svart !
