701 Enduro

Hello all. This is my first post on this forum. I have a 2020 Husky 701. I love it...except it intermediately stalls at low speeds with no throttle on, usually when I am coming to a stop or downshifting to make a turn (almost always when the clutch is engaged). After reading many posts, it seems like the fix is a modification to the emissions by using something like a Power Commander and a Dynojet Autotune, coming in around $900.

Apparently this is a known issue for the Husky 701.

Anyone else experience this and have a solution or can verify that the PC/Autotune Dynojet solves the problem?

The 701 is VERY finicky when it comes to gasoline. Especially if it gets some "E10" fuel.

A PCV may help. I have a PCV on my 701 and the only "flame-out" I had was due to fuel from CostCo. Ever since, I spec either Shell or Chevron fuels exclusively. No more problems with flame-outs.

Now, about the PCV... it doesn't really have a huge increase in power in the upper RPM register. What it DOES do is fix the gutless bottom end and lower midrange. In fact, it'll make the throttle a bit less abrupt. Making the motorcycle easier to ride, quickly. It does give a good midrange punch tho. yes, it'll still wheelie!
