So, as I mentioned in a previous post, my 401 got totalled out because of a run in with a wild animal.
I thought it fair to do a post.
Here is the bike as it got hauled off, totalled, after I washed the mess off (nasty in the garage like it was...). That it's bent is hard to see from this angle; still the damage from the 100km/h collision is obvious from up close.
The little bike took it well and made it home with all its fluids.

The issues over the 2 years and 30k+ km I rode it: (from initial appearance)
1x Stripped Screw as new(!) - Not Solved / Glued with LocTite due to lack of significance
Miss shifts - Improved / Stiffer Spring added
Can Buss Error - Solved / Shido Battery installed
Rusted Chain - My bad...
Sore Thighs (me not the bike) - Solved / Style Seat
Rattling Teeth & Sore Back (me not the bike) - Solved / Hyperpro Suspension
1x Lost Screw on Radiator - Solved / New Screw
Weeping Water Hose - Solved / Samco Hoses
No drama.
The bike always started, even at -7°C.
The bike always made it home.
The bike always got a
.
Definately a good bike.
