Hi all,
I just got my new Vitpilen 401! All great so far, apart from a software bug:
I have my units set to miles for distance, I have trip 1 distance added as a favourite in the dash so I can always keep an eye on it.
On my previous trip I have done 23miles.
On the dash it correctly shows as 23mi
BUT when I go to the trip 1 menu (or trip 2) the distance shows as 37mi, which is wrong!
23mi = 37km, so I think there is a software bug that it's showing km instead of miles in the trip menu (even though it says it's miles.).
Anyone experienced a similar issues?
I checked the Software version and it is: V.1V05
I tried to switch the units from km to miles a few time, when setting to km everything works fine, when setting to miles, the trip menu reads incorrectly as explained above.
Any help is appreciated, I will mention this to the dealer too, but unless they have some trick to fix this or a new software update, I doubt they can do much.
Finally, on a separate note, I have noticed that the idle engine speed is quite low and the bike has turned itself off on my while idling. Any tips for this? In my old carburator buke I had a nice screw that I could turn to increase the engine idle speed, no idea how to change that here.
Thanks!
Frank
