I purchased this bike new and have been the only owner/rider. It has some excellent modifications but the internals are left OEM. Mileage is approximately 2300 miles. It is in GREAT shape and is a wonderful motorcycle. Super light and full of torque. With the modifications, it pulls from 3000 RPM and is very strong in the midrange. I just bought a dual-purpose motorcycle so this one is being sold.
Modifications:
- opened up the intake for better breathing.
- added a PCV (Power Commander) with tuning map from Rottweiler. [$350]
- footpegs that are slightly rearset.
- Installed an Akrapovic full exhaust system with central collection section. [$1300]
- Installed a Nitron R2 (NTR-R2) race quality piggyback shock [$1000]
- Replaced the stock dash system with a custom enclosure from Badwinners. Huge upgrade. [$650]
- New tires.
- Tail tidy.
- Replaced levers.
- Radically different color bodywork from the Vitpilen series. This bike is gorgeous! [$600]
- Removed passenger pegs and seat. Replaced with cover.
- Sato bar ends to reduce vibration.
- Battery replaced last winter.
