1st time off road @ longandale NV

We took the outer trail its about 6.8 ml one way in and out. Our whole trip were around 748 mi. we start from san dimas, california, via rt395 to death valley national park, arrived at las vegas. Next day we travel via valley of fire navada state park, arrived at longandale. After lunch we started the trail. Attached the youtube link so u guys can get an idea on this trail .

I have tkc80 tires both are doing great job at trail, I have replaced to 2008 yamaha r1 rear shock which is doing well on highway and off road, only problem was the front suspension was a little too soft, the front fender was hit headlight few times during jumps. Other than that the bike handles really well. I was pleased how the bike performed in the dirt. Bad news is due to clutch lever broken on one of our friend, we need to bring our pickup over to load the bike, 50 mins on our bike took more than 4 hours for a 4x4 pickup to bring back off trail. Its already midnight, we have no choice we put all five bikes on a pickup and trailer back to hotel which its already 3am in the morning. One advise to whom might wanna try offroad, installed hand guards or a spare clutch lever in the backpack will be best. Shit might happen when your drop your bike.

3 Words:
Rekluse Automatic Clutch

Then, you can remove the clutch lever if you like, before its done broked
🤠

Hand guards with the full wrap around metal piece (like Cycra or something) are also good for protecting you hands... I've clipped some of those spiky desert plants with them. Wouldnt want to try it without!
And they have saved my throttle tube in crashes.

Nice post!

Thinking about buy a 2nd hand 2018 Svartpilen. It's really a problem the front suspension for some "light/medium" offroad? Your bike has any modifications apart of the tires and hand wards?

No not the front, still making brackets to rise up the front fender, its hard to find a used 43mm front fork from a dirt bike. If looking for a used one might jz consider the 2021 its equipped with adjistable front suspensions

Is this a Svartpilen with the vitpilen's plastic body covers, or is it a Vitpilen that you completely modified to be off road capable ?
