I was just looking for that raspy intake noise... Maybe a more open airbox lid will be enough.

Argh my front discs are starting to judder too. This must be a common fault. Does anyone know if it is the actual disks warping or the little spacers around the disc that are getting jammed up?

I think mine was just the gasket, but I will check and get back to you. Kind of alarming that the test bike had the same oil leak too.

They are useful for strapping luggage onto. But for looks alone I prefer without.

Those Michelin tyres should comes as standard. Looks so good on the 801!

Cheap Oxford grip heat up much quicker than the OEM ones. The factory ones only have 3 settings, low, medium and high. I haven't been on a long ride yet so will report back when I've lived with them for a bit. Beats having no heated grips though!

Yeah I had a 790 Duke and 690 Duke R at the same time and both had totally different characters. The 690 was so much fun and only 160kg fully fuelled. Loved that bike!
