These turned up yesterday from AliExpress. The finish is excellent, don’t know about fit yet. Not expensive either.

@801FAN , the Pilot road 6 is quite a hard tyre. I had a little slide yesterday from the rear on a dry road ( we´ve had very dirty rain ´Calima´ here in Andalusia ) I will try the Metzeler Sportec 01 RS in the future.

    chain tension

When my bike had it´s first service they over tightened the chain, I was on the motorway on the way home when I noticed the excess noise. (Not going to use them again, and it was a three hour round trip ) As @Tom shows in the video is the correct way I do it. I clean and lube the chain first...

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

Tbh, it´s not that loud. Just a little deeper than stock. If you remove the end cap you can access the socket button screw that is tack welded in place that secures the Db killer. it´s easy then to grind off the weld. Using the stock Coober map. the bike runs a lot smoother with no hesitation...

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

With the decibel killer removed it’s a nice sound. I wouldn’t want it any louder 😉 I also have the Arrow headers/ Coober/K&N. Just need an improvement in the weather in Andalusia to ride now.

    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

Hi and welcome to the forum. Exhausts are mainly down to personal preference. I have the Akra. The Vit and Svart are the same chassis wise. just different suspension settings for the road based Vitpilen and headlight/mudguard etc There is a lot of information as to what fits exhaust wise on the...

    Exhaust

@animals21 I have the Coober fitted along with a K&N filter , arrow headers and an Akra with the decibel killer removed. I did the mods over time so it´s difficult to tell by the seat of the pants if the modifications increased the power. The Akra and Arrow headers were done mainly for...

Should be fine @yonsson. I always use minimal wax chain lube and don’t like getting wet. 3500km of chain lube fling. Will also protect the crankcase should the chain break 😉

@Tom, they do seem great quality. Mine arrived week. Still to fit them though. Due to warm up here in Andalusia next week, the bike needs a good wash after a few months in my shed. Will fit it after that. Thanks bud

    801 Throttle Spacers, any joy?

The blue bit is where I put the piece of zip tie. Works perfectly. I always have zero play in my throttle setup. I prefer it this way

    801 Throttle Spacers, any joy?

I made some temporary ones from bits of zip tie. Been in around 1000km

    Battery life

If it´s the OEM Husky Gel battery it is the same size as the standard battery. I replaced mine to help reduce weight
