I forgot to add - the Ali express exhaust wasn’t a perfect fit, there was a little play which led to a leak. Yesterday I got some high temp gasket silicone and just bogged both ends - mid pipe to the muffler and mid pipe to the cat. It sat overnight to cure and this morning is 100% perfect

Thanks! No, I had some left over paint and clear from an alloy wheel tidy up I did a few months ago. It will need a polish, but it’s worked well on the wheels so I thought I’d give it a go.

Hey, you know it does all make sense.. change one thing and something else is going to suffer. I’ll be putting the chamber back in, and maybe experimenting with having a short pipe off that.. if that doesn’t work then back to having everything how it was. I can work on the aesthetics 😄

I agree - the performance is certainly adequate and I don’t want to compromise that with a farty exhaust. I had plans to change the airbox too but now I won’t be!
