    801 Slip-on / exhaust list

@Funis , that´s my exhaust in the photo. You need to remove the carbon end cap first. Then you can drill out the spot weld that holds the DB killer in place and pull it out. You can just see the spot weld in the photo.

    Exhaust

I got away with my unruly behaviour as a youngster thankfully. The police used to be a pain on the road to Devils Bridge in Kirkby Lonsdale they even had unmarked Subaru Impreza's assisted by helicopters. What's the fun in that. Much more relaxed here up in the mountains in Andalusia.

    Exhaust

@Tom, In the UK there is no need for an exhaust to be homologated like Germany and Spain. If you get stopped by the police you are at the mercy of the officer on the day, a lot of them are ¨bike savvy¨ As @Griffo46 says the MOT test depends on the garage and they can be very...

@jacasado I am also in Spain and unhappy with my dealer. Twice the chain has been overtightened when servicing. It seems most Husqvarna dealers in Spain are multi franchise and the technicians receive little or no training. I have to use them for the warranty. I have even thought about going...

    Navigation system and app

I tried it but it´s too unreliable. I live in rural Andalusia and it just does not work well. i now use a Beeline Moto2. less problems.

Hi @toast449 , not had a good look yet Tbf. There is a slight weep on the gasket on the other side to the output shaft. But it’s minimal. The dealer over tightened the chain for the first and yearly services. Same tech, don’t trust them. It’s a multi franchise dealer in Murcia Spain. Fast in...

Hi @jacasado, welcome to the group. Firstly, Im English ( been here ten years) Secondly love the bike, there are a few niggles mentioned on the forum. Mine has developed the slight weep of oil around the gasket on the bottom of the engine. It’s very slight to be fair and an indicator failed...

Love it, it’s about the right sound with the baffle removed. Superb quality, it’s been on from new so don’t know what the standard sounds like (not found the need to try it)

New to me ride destination, Sierra de Carzola. Circa 300km round trip. Sunny 25deg, hardly any other traffic. Lunch in Hornos (superb) and back home. I will be back.

    Issues fixed under warranty

I’m in the same boat, minus the ferry crossing. Very slight weep. Don’t trust the garage though as they can’t even tension the chain correctly when serviced. Multi marque dealer without the correct training I assume. Only had it serviced there for the warranty. Looks like some research is needed.

just upgraded to a Svartpilen 801

Hi, and welcome to the Forum @HappyAl. I think all of the exhaust options have been covered previously on the forum. From spendy to not so. Depends if you want something road legal or not. I know you can get away with most options in the UK. Personally I have the Akra, but i´m sure most will say...
