I attached the straps just like your picture but I did not attach the black straps that hold the strap furthest to the back. That is quite clever to make sure it does not move. Was just curios where you attached the black straps.

I tried a few times to wrap the front wind "screen" but used the 3M 1080 wrap and that did not want to conform to the indentations even with quite a bit of heat. I think I'll either paint it or order the new 2080 vinyl.

Where did you get those straps? Is it the same size of hole/bolts as the ones under the frame above the tire, sort of plug and play?

Why would clamp style be superior?
