Already did a few rides on the Husky earlier this year. Today was the first ride on the Triumph this year:

It's a new motor for Husqvarna, they don't have a 790 in their line up yet.

Not just early model years. All model years 790 have issues with coolant and oil leaks. And there are quite a few with camshaft wear issues as well 🤐

Considering the (lack of) quality of the stock magura master and slave (both on the 701 and my previous 990) I would never buy a Magura master cylinder as an upgrade. I would go for a Brembo, accossato, galespeed, or Hel before I would even look at a different Magura.

It's mostly taxes. Denmark is even worse. But because the Vitpilens weren't very popular, (a premium big single is quite niche) I bought mine new in 2019 for €9250 with the Akra included. 😁

Why is everybody so surprised about the pricing? The Vit/Svart 701's were dressed up Duke 690's and more expensive. The new 801/901 will be a dressed up Duke 790/890 so will be more expensive than that. It's not there to compete with something budget like a MT07. My guess is it'll be closer to...

Never looked into it, but I can imagine it might get quite dirty with oil mist coming through the filter.

If you mean the red rubber ring on the bottom of the fork stanchion, that's a travel indicator. It's used to guage how much fork travel you are using. Slide it up to the top, go for a ride, and the position of the ring displays the travel you used. Can be usefull when setting up the forks.

If the tank recall has been done, the capacity should be 11,4 litres. I've only run it dry before the recall, and it then took exactly 12 litres to fill it to the brim. The way you fill it up might also make a difference. I always sit on the bike to keep it upright and fill it absolutely to...

Neutral should not be hard to find. On my Vit, when neutral gets difficult, it usually means I need to bleed the clutch. 😅

Ah, so I was close 😅 BTW on the Vit the procedure to turn off the tc is: press and hold the unmarked button until the screen shows: release button. Then let go of the button and your tc light should turn on, and the tc should be off.

If I remember correctly, you can't turn off tc on the svart 701, but I'm not 100% sure
