My bike originally had quite a dark yellow clutch fluid. After the clutch failed and I had an Oberon installed, the clutch fluid was much lighter and paler. I guess maybe it comes down to what the dealer uses versus what the factory does? The black anodised stem nut looks much better...

Having said that, the Norden looks 100% better than the KTM adventure so if it’s priced right and the 890 stays reliable it could be a winner :)

I predict it’ll be an expensive re-skin of the 890 adventure, will be priced way too high initially with significant reductions 12-18 months after it releases then further reductions in the following off season, before KTM give up the ghost with Husky other than the Indian made sub-500cc models...

They stopped making the 701s early last year, according to friend in the trade. There won’t be any more. The 2020s were parts bin specials to clear the accessory bins afaic.

I mailed Pyramid yesterday so will see what they say after they get back from the holidays. Mine looks like this, hard to see with the glue residue but the ‘tongue’ section is completely flat. Newer ones have a channel around the edge where extender meets tongue.

I have the earlier 102 version...which did not fit so it’s on the shelf rather than on the bike! Yours look right to me.

What’s the issue with the fit? Is the cutout the wrong shape? The Vitpilen one doesn’t fit the Vitpilen very well IMO because of the rounded moulding under the stock mudguard - I.e. it’s not flat, there’s a bead you could say. The extender sits at an angle unless you find some way to pack it...

All I can say is mine did. At that point I was losing fluid in ‘gulps’ and I still had just under half the fluid in the master cyl.
