OP-For your criteria, the 701 is a great choice. You’ll find it’s limitations are with whatever tires you choose. Enjoy your bike, and don’t forget about “Wheelie Wednesday!”

Ti can be polished, but most people leave it as “matte.” If you absolutely MUST have a high lustre, then polishing compounds of increasingly finer grit needs to be used. The last step wound be a jeweler’s rouge, as it may remove “fogginess.” Biggest tip I can give would be take your time.

I’m hip regarding “few places to ride” anywhere near the coast. Sometimes, I sneak in, then out, before the cops catch me!

Usually, our dirt is like concrete. Rarely does it get loamy.
