    VITPILEN 801 FRONT LIGHT

Nearly 10% of a complete bike just for a single headlight is indeed quite expensive! Alternatively you could also print it... ;) https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/various/7-vitpilen-inspired-headlight-skymage55

    VITPILEN 801 FRONT LIGHT

You can order it from Husqvarna (part number A67614001000); it's about EUR 800,-. https://www.husqvarna-motorcycles.com/en-int/service/spareparts-finder.html

The first one I started at the top and then worked downwards. The second one I started from the side upwards and downwards; it worked even better. Yes, I think the stickers will be visible under the wrap. Here some pics from the wrapping of the first cover.

@blue_monkey I ordered 1m of the "3M™ Wrap Film 2080 Car Film M230 Matte Gray Aluminum"; it's 1,5m wide; and was enough for both covers; even with some reserve. I've no experience with other car wraps, but the 3M worked extremely good with the quite challenging form of the covers. When I did...

I'm definitely not a professional with wrapping; but with some basic knowledge and some patience it wasn't too difficult.

    801 Helmets....

The noise is absolutely fine to me; also at highway / max. speed, no problem at all. The ventilation of the RX-7V is because of the vents on the top of course better, but to be honest; while riding I've not noticed a big difference.

Congrats to your new bike!! (y) Because of the wrapping and the stickers; neither nor; I've ordered a pair of unpainted tank covers from Husqvarna to wrap them (part number A67608953000); they are surprisingly affordable / about EUR 90,- for the pair. Here an additional pic of the delivered...

    Puig shield

LOL... Since my typical rides are 300-400 km day trips; mostly on country roads and small back roads, I see no need to attach a windshield at all. But nevertheless it looks better than expected.

    Puig shield

I was always quite sceptical about the puig shield (but have so far only seen some pics of the tinted one attached to the bike), but the transparent one is very unobtrusive and fits the bike indeed quite nicely.

    Issues fixed under warranty

It's a bit strange, but it seems the first production line of the 801 is more reliable than the later ones; mine was delivered end of July 2024; and up to now (apart from the minor quality issues upon delivery) no major issues.

just upgraded to a Svartpilen 801

Next to the optional Akrapovic and Remus, you can also check LeoVince, Arrow and GRmoto.

just upgraded to a Svartpilen 801

@HappyAl a welcome from me as well. Because of the exhaust; check this thread; you'll find a lot of options there. Most exhaust that will fit a KTM Duke 790/890 or CFmoto 800NK can be adapted to the 801.

It's a Duke 390 tail tidy that is adapted to the 801. Here you'll find some more information https://hqvadventure.com/forum/threads/duke-390-2017-2023-tail-tidy-adapted-to-the-801.1744/

    801 320mm brake discs

Yes, it seems you are right; "ABS remains active on the front wheel but is reduced. It is deactivated entirely on the rear wheel. Cornering ABS is also disengaged" A pic from the KTM website; it should be the same with the 801; good to know!

    801 320mm brake discs

That's a bit strange; to my understanding the supermoto mode just deactivates the rear ABS, but without changes to the front ABS; here a pic from the owners manual.

I haven't noticed anything like that with the ABS so far.

Mirrors, blind spot detection and dashcam

Yes, the stock bar end weights are quite long; you can easily add the spacers and the weights are still firmly attached to the handlebar.
