I found these great hi-res concept pictures of the Svartpilen 401. Obviously, they are kind of old now, but still really cool.

How much louder is that Remus than stock? I like it, but I wish it was angled a bit less. so that it as just a bit more horizontal.

The high exhaust is cool on the "2019-" because it eliminates the downpipe through the swingarm. But I prefer how the lower pipes look.

I just bumped into this comparison video showing a great comparison of MANY exhaust / muffler slip ons. I hadn't even heard of many of the brands. I'm not sure you can tell much from a video about the sounds, but it's something. And you get a glimpse of how each looks too.

That MUST be better than the heavy extrension hanging off the back of the swingarm as unsprung weight.

Maybe you can post pictures and measurements of your bike's bolt pattern and someone else can help by taking some snapshots and measurements of their earlier bike? I'm not sure what bolts you even mean...

They have been planning successor model or a while I think. Maybe with twin cylinder engines? And there have been 501 and 901 rumors too... This is from an older presentation...

I've never seen them side by side in real life. Certainly the construction and finishes are different. I too might have gone for the earlier version if I didn't prefer the appearance and features of the 2020+ so much more. Only you can pick!
