The PC5 with most maps will be a bit richer throughout the rev range and at all levels of load, works exactly like stock, just better. A map that matches your mods will definitely be better for your engine.

The PC5 and fuel dongle, even with a basic map will be better than stock. If you can find a map that matches your mods it will be better still, for perfection get it on a dyno for a custom map by someone experienced.

If the 701 auto tunes at all it will be within very narrow parameters (emissions regs) and still be very lean. The Dynojet auto tune add on would be the only way to make real changes in real time.

The 701 doesn't have a stock auto tune. You can buy an auto tune unit to add on to the PC5, uses a slightly larger O2 sensor that will need a new threaded port welded into the downpipe. A well set up map on a dyno will be more than sufficient for most conditions. If you intend doing further...

I have the PC5 and fuel dongle/O2 sensor delete, they work well together. Haven't had any gear shift issues since fitting it. It might be worth connecting your laptop to the PC5, Dynojet have a number of free maps for the Vitpilen/Svart on their website. You can save whatever map Bad Winners...

I have seen one fitted on a Svart with the side panels, seems to fit fine and the difference is possibly less noticable than that of a Svart seat without the panels.

Got the bellypan fitted today, really happy with how it turned out. Looks better on the Svart than I expected.

I have seen one Vit with the piggyback shock fitted, the reservoir goes on the side facing away from the wheel and seems to be fine. As I don't have the airbox I suspect it will work forwards or backwards facing.

Well the dilemma over how to mount the reservoir resolved itself...

Hopefully the settings should be pretty close, they take your weight with gear, pillion use/weight and riding use road/track, then build and set it up to order. As I have removed the airbox I am hoping to mount the reservoir in the extra space there.

I'm sure with time and aftermarket experience, the Duc power and weight figures will give the 701/690 a run for their money. The torque will be harder to improve (we know that ourselves) but some competition in the sector is good for 2026 701s and 690s.

They should be the same if from a similar year (not the pre ABS models) you will need the correct discs and sprocket/cush drive as well as possibly spacers.

After taking mine out once, I ditched it completely and replaced it with a pair of DNA mini pod filters. That thing is a pain.
