Good news. The slave cylinder problem was for the 701s with hydraulic clutch. The 401s don't have a hydraulic clutch.

I cant remember seeing ride report thread here. I know that for most here it's the dead of winter and riding season is over. I don't ride much in winter even though I live in SoCal but plenty of people do. I really don't like to ride when it's much below 70F but yesterday it was sunny, 71F...

Who has them on their 401 and how do you have them wired? I think I recall someone here having electronic issues after having installed them or it may have been LED turn signals.

There are features on other derivatives of the 390 platform that may find their way to the 401s. For instance, the new Adventure 390 has cruise control. It is pertinent to point such things out. If it were impertinent the moderators would have removed it.

It is, but it's also about items of interest to those who have a 401. Obviously, the 390 SM is just another derivative of the Duke 390 as are the 401s.

I have two buddies with supermotos. One has a Husqvarna 701, the other a converted KTM dirt bike that he bought from a race team at season's end, won a AMA title. It's not street legal but he rides it on the street with a plate from another one of his bikes and ridiculously tiny turn signals...

Telling you the price of the 690 was all that needed to be said. That being said, I think the 390 would be a blast just as the 401s are, possibly more so. CycleCruza, who owns a 690 SM thinks the 390 SM might even be better.
