Hello, this is my first post on this forum. I want to share the warranty issue I had with my new stock Svartpilen 801. I commute with my bike almost daily except during the harsch winter months. I reached 11.000km on the odometer recently. Had the last official service at the dealership at around 7500km.
Suddenly the bike didn’t want to start. The starting engine was turning and I heard a few beats but the engine didn’t go on. The TFT said Traction Control Failure. Removed the battery, charged it, tried again, no solution.
Contacted Husqvarna Road Service through the App. They sent the national roadside assistance to my home, tried to start it with the booster, no solution. They arranged a recovery service and my bike was brought to the nearest dealer (where I bought the bike last year).
3 weeks (!) later I got the bike back.
The diagnose said it was a problem with the ride-by-wire system. They changed the original battery and throttle, didn’t work, then they changed the complete throttle body. The solution. The bike runs again. We have no idea how this could happen.
An electronic sensor problem within the throttle body was the reason the bike didn’t want to run anymore.
I’m happy it is fixed under warranty and I am happy with the Husqvarna Road Service, however 3 weeks and a few phone calls were really testing my patience during this beautiful summer period.
