@LuisLAN if the brackets were to be rotated or swapped i can see a few possible issues
1. the top plate might not bolt back on
2. it the plate did bolt it would actually be over the riders seat unless you redrilled the mounting holes
3. the mounting brackets taper inward towards the back and it...
@LuisLAN there are 6 holes on the mounting plate allowing for 2 locations. it cannot be turned around if you want to use all 4 holes. The most forward placement will have it barely cover the end of the pillion seat. I choose to place it most reward just to make it easier to remove and...
@BISavage which combination did you end up with. I have the '18 exhaust conversion with oem cat with comp werkes chamber delete pipe and oem exhaust. I'm considering removing the exhaust and going with a shorty pipe to further reduce weight but wondering if that would decrease the performance...
I was using an old go pro hero 3 mounted to my backpack shoulder strap. I just bought an Insts360 OneX2 on their black friday sale. Going to mount it to the handbars. I do like the idea of a permanent moto mounted camera option if it is discrete enough.
yeah i was a bit disappointed when i found out the mirror plugs were glued in on the 2021s.
I went with the rhinomoto weighted adapters, the CRG 3" lanesplit mirrors also got the same mirror plugs from amazon. I like the setup very much. Not much vibration and visibility is pretty good. I...
Seems like without a dyno it will be hard to know which tune to select unless your butt dyno is super sensitive to change. I'm interested in real world results of this module and how it works with a cat delete pipe.
@HuskyGabe i thought about the same issue, but figured that the design of the 18-19 exhaust was used on the duke and husky for many years and if it were that big of an issue there would be many more reports of it. From what I can tell the change to the 20-21 routing was mainly due to Euro 5...
Price isn't bad. I wanted to keep the cat but delete the chamber. I was able to buy all the header, cat, exhaust from eBay, gaskets from husqvarnapartspro.com, the chamber delete from AOMC and evap delete kit from SmartMoto.
Here are my costs:
Header+Cat = 125
Gaskets and clamps = 55
Chamber...
@pudding
Yes those are a separate piece as they are aluminum spacers. There are 4 of them, you barely see the ones on the most reward holes because they are just long enough to have the bracket be flush to the plastic. You also need to reuse the spacers that are already in there and those go...
@pudding finally put the racks on. They fit up just fine, the only issue I ran into were the bolts for the top rack to the rear bike frame were too long so I reused the bolts the held the rear grab handle. Other than that the racks are very high quality. It's pretty sturdy. The mounting...
I considered the covers but my main concern especially with running the 18-19 exhaust setup is the lack of air flow and trapping the heat possibly leading to heat soak. However It may make it less hot on your legs.
I ordered the rear and side racks. Took a few weeks to arrive from S Korea...
