I'm at 12k miles now. So almost as many miles as it had when it happened. I was worried about, and thought about getting it to a dealer, but the only way to know what's up with certainty is to open up the engine. So I just left it alone, if it breaks I will have to get it fixed anyways so... 🤷🏽...

No idea what they are, or where they came from, but I had the same scales come out of mine at about 6,300 miles (around 10,000 km). In my case, they were not magnetic and were also present on only one screen (Left side), but I can't really tell if that was the first time those were in the oil...

Paint/wrap the silver parts in black. That will give it a facelift.

Anakee ADV lasted almost twice as long for me. I also like the tire profile better; the bike seems to lean a lot easier.

You don't have to. You can lace the 18" rim to the double rotor hub. @Actionabe had to do this, but he used a 17" rim instead. Edit: Fix typo "room >> rim"

Out of curiosity, why didn't you install the 790's fork shoes on the Vit stanchions to keep the OEM fork height?

Old thread, but seemingly relevant info about disabling TC and ABS quickly. Video I found a #D printable spacer that accomplishes the same. I will try it over the weekend.

I'll buy the 701 pillion seat if it's still available.
